About the treatment

Mounjaro is a once-weekly injection from a newer class of medications known as dual incretin treatments that uses the acrtive ingredient Tirzepatide. How does it work?

It comes in the form of a pen that is injected under the skin once a week, at a steady dose of 2.5 mg. This dose is repeated each week across all 3 months. Inject your dose under the skin (subcutaneously) in your stomach area (abdomen), thigh, or upper arm, using a different injection site each week when injecting in the same body region. After one month, throw the pen away and replace it with another pen for the following month's treatment.
