Why do I get cramps and aches during my period?
These are most likely caused by an excess of prostaglandins, a hormone-like
substance released from the uterine lining when it is ready to shed. They are
typically felt in the abdomen, back and thighs and can be treated with pain
relief.
How are yeast infections caused?
These infections are caused by an overgrowth of the Candida fungus and cause
swelling, soreness and pain when urinating. 3 out of 4 women will have a yeast
infection in their lifetime. They can be treated with antifungal products.
Why do I get nausea during my period?
Nausea is a common PMS symptom before or during their period. It's caused by a
hormone called prostaglandin, which circulates around your body during your
time of the month. PMS also is the cause of cramps, aches and tenderness and
is completely normal. It is normal and can be treated with oral products.
