Frequently Asked Questions

What are the medications available?

Due to Singapore regulations, we are unable to list this class of treatments by name. You can speak to our doctors during the online consultation to learn about the specific options available.

We use a branded, weekly, injectable medication that works to support healthy metabolism and suppress appetite. All of our medications are approved by the FDA.

How much does it cost?

Our Weight Loss Program offers clinically proven medical treatments, unlimited follow-up consultations with your Doctor, Semaglutide Booster Supplements, smart BMI weighing scales and the support of a team of specialists to give you the best chance of losing weight and keeping it off for good.

The program starts at $475 per month with flexible payment options available.

The Weight Loss program is an investment in your well-being. Unlike other weight loss methods, our holistic approach provides you with support from Dieticians and Nutritionists, and a dedicated team of Doctors, Nurses, and Pharmacists. You'll get everything you need sent to your door each month.

Our pricing reflects the comprehensive benefits you’ll receive, all designed to deliver sustainable weight loss results over time.

What makes this program different?

If you’re exploring weight loss programs, you’ll notice that not all are created equal.

With this program you’ll not only get a next-gen GLP-1 medical treatment (if approved), but also have the backing of a specialist team of Doctors, Dieticians, Nutritionists and Nurses as well as a range of high dose, high performance supplements to maximise your weight loss experience.

We go beyond the norm with personalised care and a proven track record of helping thousands of people just like you to lose weight and keep it off for good.

Who is eligible for this treatment?

Our weight loss medications are for patients with a BMI ≥27 with at least 1 weight-related comorbidity. You may be required to take a blood test to determine suitability. You may use our BMI calculator to check your eligibility or speak to our doctors to find out suitability for treatment.

Why do I need a comprehensive program?

When we lose weight, 20-40% of it can come from muscle mass. This loss of muscle can increase the risk of lower bone density, fatigue, injuries, decreased strength, and a higher likelihood of weight regain.

Unlike traditional medical weight loss programs that focus solely on losing weight, our program is designed to help you maintain your results long-term. Our program shifts the focus from short-term weight loss to sustainable fat loss and muscle preservation, ensuring lasting health and vitality.

What can I expect from treatment?

Results vary from person to person especially taking into account lifestyle and diet.

However, clinical research from studies of these medications have been proven to successfully reduce body weight by 15% over 12 months. They have been proven to be more effective than diet and exercise alone with typically results in a 2% loss on average.

Do I need to consult a doctor for weight loss treatment? Why is a video consultation needed?

For Weight Loss treatments, a mandatory video consultation is needed for our Doctors to review and approve your treatment and ensure eligibility.

In order to ensure we adhere to medical regulations and ensure safety of patients, a doctor will need to conduct a video consultation, evaluate patient's medical history and lifestyle habits to determine if a weight loss medication is appropriate and safe. Additionally, a doctor can monitor the patient's progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed to achieve optimal results.

If you are not eligible for weight loss treatment the cost of the program will be refunded to you.

Is the injectable medicine painful?

Injecting with the weight loss medicine pen is generally not painful and well-tolerated by most patients. You might feel a small pinch-like sensation when the needle first pierces your skin but that is usually all. The nano 4mm 32 gauge needles are one of the shortest and thinnest needles available for injection pens.

What is Ozempic® and how does it work?

Ozempic® the brand name for Semaglutide, a type of medication called GLP-1s. GLP-1s are a class of medical treatments for weight loss and diabetes. They mimic the GLP-1 hormone that is naturally released in the gastrointestinal tract in response to eating.

When you eat, your digestive system breaks carbohydrates down into simple sugars that travel through your bloodstream. GLP-1 triggers the release of insulin from your pancreas. Insulin helps usher glucose (sugar) out of the bloodstream and into your cells, where it can be used for nourishment and energy.

These drugs also act in the brain to reduce hunger and act on the stomach to delay emptying, so you feel full for a longer time. These effects can lead to weight loss, which can be an important part of managing diabetes. GLP-1 agonists have been used to treat type 2 diabetes for about two decades.

The active ingredient in Ozempic®, Semaglutide has been linked to deliver:

- Less hunger

- Fewer food cravings

- Better control of eating

- Reduced preference for high-fat foods

- All this can lead to eating fewer calories and as a result, significant weight loss.

A 2021 study conducted with almost 2,000 adults without diabetes, showed that after 68 weeks, participants taking a weekly Semaglutide injection lost an average of almost 15% of their body weight. This was alongside some lifestyle changes, like improving their diet and getting regular physical activity. [1]

Am I required to follow a strict diet?

However, we strongly encourage making positive changes to your diet and lifestyle to achieve lasting results. The program includes support from a nutritionist and dietitian to guide you in implementing these sustainable lifestyle changes.

Will I experience any side effects whilst on treatments?

All medical treatments carry a risk of side effects, but the side effects experienced by patients are typically temporary and can often be reduced or managed through various lifestyle interventions. The most common side effects include reflux, headaches, constipation, vomiting, fatigue, and localised skin irritation. While these side effects may not be ideal, they are common and expected among patients using this class of treatment.

What happens when I stop taking the treatment?

Our treatments provide effective long-term solutions for losing weight and maintaining it. Patients should continue the treatment until they’ve made sustainable behavioral changes that help maintain their results and prevent weight regain after finishing the program. We’re here to support you for as long as you need us.

Will I need to get a blood test before being approved for the program?

When starting treatment, your practitioner may request a blood test. This is to help monitor any pre-existing or developing health conditions, ensuring the best management of your treatment going forward. You can have your blood test done at your local pathology clinic or we can connect you seamlessly to our partner clinic to take the test. If you have diabetes or a history of diabetes in your family this may be a reason we will require a blood test to be taken.
